The Steam Computer Society, of New Romney in Kent, published Einstein Magazine & All Micro News through the middle and late 1990s under its chief editor and publisher A E Adams. It took the magazine over from the UK Einstein User Group at Ipswich, and issue 79 of 1996 says why: "We took over from those awfully nice people at Ipswich just as the final vestiges of Einstein support were about to be abandoned."
The society ran six issues a year, a software library and a stand at the computer shows, and by 1996 the magazine was ten years old counting its earlier lives as Einstein Monthly and Alternative Micro News. It also published companion titles for subjects well outside computing, including Old Copier for users of obsolete photocopiers and duplicators, under the name Steam Printing Society.
What is recorded here comes from the magazines themselves.
