About
Einstein Magazine & All Micro News was the house magazine of the UK Einstein User Group, published six times a year from New Romney in Kent by the Steam Computer Society.
This is issue 73, January to February 1995, twenty pages, the first with Ted Cawkwell and Andrew McRobbie editing the Einstein section. Inside: the saga of the group's photocopiers; Andrew McRobbie's step by step guide to fitting a second 3 inch internal or a 5.25 inch external drive, with a Maplin parts list and a wiring sketch; Ted Cawkwell on the 80 column card and the Einstein's video outputs; an introduction to the Kuma spreadsheet; Sid Dunn's Cheap and Cheerful C, part 1, on the Small-C library disk; a BASIC text reader to type in; a note that Saxon Electronics developed an Einstein Portable in a suitcase; the 1995 show dates; and back number and software library offers.
About This Scan
Scanned from an original by TatungBytes, with a searchable text layer. The publisher's home address has been removed from the masthead and the back page. Names are kept. The redactions are painted into the page images and the searchable text was made afresh afterwards, so it holds nothing that was removed.
The Rest of the Run
The magazine ran from Einstein Monthly in 1987 to No. 111 in 2003. We have scanned Nos 73, 74 and 76 to 80 and their companions ourselves; the other issues can be read on Einstein Reborn.
