Software Projects’ double pack for the Einstein: Jet Set Willy plus Team Sanyo & Harvey Smith Showjumper, one game on each side of the disc. This is a flux dump of a complete boxed original, with its box, fold-out instructions, the Jet Set Willy leaflet (“Copyright 1986 Software Projects”) and Jet Set Willy’s Software Protection Code sheet. Showjumper’s title screen reads “Copyright 1986 by Software Projects Limited”.
The Disc
Each side is labelled with its game’s logo and boots XtalDOS. One side holds SHOW.COM; type SHOW. The other holds JETSET.COM; type JETSET.
The Code Sheet
Jet Set Willy asks for a code before it will start: press ENTER, then type the four colours of the square it names from the printed sheet, as digits: blue 1, red 2, green 3, yellow 4. The Jet Set Willy on this disc draws from an 850-square book, five pages of 17 rows and 10 columns, matching the five-page sheet in the box. The code for each square is a checksum of the program’s own data, so the package includes the whole book regenerated from the disc, JETSET-codebook.txt. It was checked in MAME: the game asked for page 3, square F8, the book gives 3242, and the game accepted it.
That is the one difference from the Jet Set Willy recovered from the Manic Miner master. The two programs are identical except for two bytes, which set the book’s size: that build uses a 1,700-square, ten-page book.
Leftovers on the Jet Set Willy Side
Read below DOS, the Jet Set Willy side carries the same deleted files as the Manic Miner master disc: MANIC.COM, FASTMANI.COM, FASTJETS.COM and a copy of Manic Miner with no name, every one byte for byte the same as the files recovered there. This time Jet Set Willy is the live file and Manic Miner the deleted one. They are in the disc images as they came off the disc.

About this Dump
Dumped on 26 September 2026 with a Greaseweazle V4 and an original Einstein 3″ drive, and checked with the Einstein Disc Tools. The Showjumper side read all 400 sectors first time. The Jet Set Willy side read 399 of 400: one sector on the last track fails its checksum on every revolution. It lies in unused space, no file is affected, and it is kept as read. Nothing has been cleaned up.
