We always wondered whether anything racy ever came out for the Einstein. A 1986 user group newsletter has the answer, and its anonymous artist has some questions to answer.

The Online Player boots 205 discs from the library in your browser, and the Assembly Lab lets you write Z80 assembly and run it on an Einstein, with nothing to install.

A disc from a reader's collection holds a letter from Gem Software dated March 1985 and, beneath the finished game, the unfinished Space Trap the letter was posted with.

Einstein software survives only on the discs people kept, and this month's finds came from discs whose programs we already had. If you own an Einstein and a Gotek, you can image a disc with the BACKUP command you already have, and sharing the images is a real favour to everyone who loves the machine. Here is why, and how.

The man who wrote Pete's Utilities worked at Tatung UK. Forty years on he got in touch, and sent us looking at the last sector of every System Master.

The Einstein 256 disc of Dragon's Lair hides a message in its sector numbers, setting three Tolkien questions for anyone who got that far. We found all three answers, and then found the same loader on three more games.

The Einstein never came with a mouse, but it could have one: EMSOFT's Mouse Art put one on the user port. We have it working in MAME, driven by the mouse on your desk.

A plain disc in a Kuma Castle Quest case held 1984 demonstration copies of Castle Quest, Quest, Quadrax and Pelmanism, now in the library.

Earlier versions of Hangman and the Keyboard Trainer, deleted and long buried on a reused Cursed Chambers disc, brought back with our new recovery tool - and quite possibly a trace of the System Master v1.0 we have been looking for.
