About
This is a demonstration copy of Pelmanism, the card-matching memory game for two to four players. Its title screen reads “Copyright © A.J. & S.E. PACK 1983”. The released game is in the library as Tycoon & Pelmanism.
It was found on a plain, hand-labelled disc that turned up in a Kuma Castle Quest case, beside early versions of Castle Quest and Quest and a demonstration copy of Quadrax. The program opens:

- Several of the symbols on the cards are drawn differently from the released version.
- The title tune ends on a different note.
- Each round starts with the same player, where the release passes the first turn round the players.
- Its start-up line sets the machine up for demonstration.
Running It
The disc image holds just this program and boots XtalDOS. XBAS.COM is not on it; with XBAS available, type XBAS PELMAN.
