About

These are two earlier builds of Graham Clarke’s Einstein Flight Simulator 2, recovered from deleted files on an original Screensoft Flight Simulation disc (1986, Myrddin Software and Screensoft). They lie underneath the released build H on both sides of the disc, so it was evidently duplicated from Screensoft’s working master. The released game is in the library as MYRDDIN Flight Simulation.

What’s Included

Disc imageBuildHow it differs from the released build H
FS2BLDFFIts program is headed REM 12FS-F and loads its own machine code, X12F.OBJ. Some cockpit graphics are drawn differently and two on-screen messages are placed differently.
FS2BLDGGThe same BASIC program as build H, but loading the build-G machine code, X12G.OBJ.

Each disc image holds one build alone. FS2.XBS and its machine-code file are byte for byte as recovered from the disc, with HSCE.OBJ and XBAS.COM from the same disc so that it runs. A listings folder holds the program of builds F, G and the released H as text, for comparison. Both builds fly in MAME.

Running It

Boot either disc image, type XBAS, then RUN"FS2". Press F to fly or S to set up. The Flight Sim manual applies.
