About
MYRDDIN Flight Simulation is a flight simulator for the Tatung Einstein, published by MYRDDIN.
Its title screen reads “EINSTEIN FLIGHT SIMULATOR 2 by Graham Clarke”. It was sold by Screensoft as Flight Simulation, “Flight Sim II” on the inlay, which is dated 1986: “COPYRIGHT © MYRDDIN SOFTWARE LTD. Swindon Wilts. COPYRIGHT © SCREENSOFT LTD. Northwood, Middlesex”. The inlay describes a “real time simulation with 3D graphics” over a 64,000 × 64,000 flying area, “developed under pilot instruction”, with a comprehensive instrument panel, 3D landmarks to fly around, and three runways for refuelling, take-off and landing. Keyboard or joystick.
The manual is in the library as the Flight Sim manual.
Running It
Boot the disc, type XBAS, then RUN"FS2". Press F to fly or S to set up: civil or military, day or night, airfield, wind, cloud base, joystick and performance level.
Two Earlier Builds on the Disc
The released program is build “12FS-H”. Underneath it, as deleted files on both sides of the disc, are two earlier builds of the game with their machine code. The disc was evidently duplicated from Screensoft’s working master. Both have been recovered and are in the library together as Flight Simulation (Earlier Builds F and G, 1986).

About this Dump
Dumped on 27 September 2026 from an original Screensoft disc with a Greaseweazle V4 and an original Einstein 3″ drive. Every sector on both sides read cleanly on the first pass, and it flies in MAME.
