About
A Formula 1 racing game, recovered from a disc where it had been deleted. It starts by drawing a circuit outline and naming it, with NEXT TRACK to cycle through the rest: Silverstone is the first. Then it asks for MANUAL GEARS or AUTOMATIC GEARS, and from there you qualify and race.
The rest of what it does is written into the program itself: PREPARE TO QUALIFY, PREPARE TO RACE, THE TRACK IS WET, THE TRACK IS DRY, and a running display of MPH RPM GEAR TIME POS LAP.
We Do Not Know What It Is Called
The program carries no title screen, no copyright line and no author's name, on screen or in its bytes, and the filename is all we have to call it by. It does not match anything already in the library. If you recognise it, please tell us, and we will name the entry properly and credit whoever wrote it.

Running It
Not a bootable disc. Boot a System Master in drive 0, put this one in drive 1, and type 1:F1SIM at the 0: prompt. The menus answer to the joystick as well as the keyboard.
Where It Came From
Recovered as a deleted file from the Turbo Draughts disc in the library, with einstein_dsk_recover from the Einstein Disc Tools. None of its blocks had been reused, so it came back complete and it runs.
