What has changed in the course since it was first published, newest first. If a section you followed last month reads differently today, this is where it says why.

The Einstein has two grey cursor keys, not four arrow keys: a horizontal one (right, or left with SHIFT) and a vertical one (down, or up with SHIFT). The three keys marked with a single arrow are the [, ] and ^ character keys. Earlier text said "the arrow keys type brackets and do not move the cursor", which describes MAME's mapping (its Left, Right and Up arrows press the three character keys; Tab and the Down arrow are the cursor keys), not the machine. At SuperForth and in its editor both cursor keys move the cursor: what S10 called "the down arrow" and "TAB" are the vertical and horizontal cursor keys. Appendix IV now has both keyboards side by side, and says what was checked in MAME rather than on a real Einstein. |
| 17 September 2026 | S1, S2, S7, S9, S15, S22, S25, Appendix III | For readers at a real Einstein, and one more key for readers in MAME (the round brackets, in S7). S2 now opens with what is different for you, the largest thing being that your own SuperForth disc has no BIGFORTH on it until you make it; S9 says when to, and Appendix III has the lines. Instructions that said "close MAME" now say "restart the Einstein", and S2 says what that means at each kind of machine. |

Key names are the Einstein's throughout; lines beginning In MAME give the modern key where it differs. New: Appendix IV, the whole keyboard in one place, and a warning about the one key that switches MAME's own controls on, after which Esc closes MAME. |
