About

Commercially sold discs of ready translated Spectrum games, published by Orion Software, which was Syntaxsoft's label, for use with the Speculator. Disk 2 was nine pounds ninety five in 1986; the game discs ran "from £9 to £12". Elite's Spectrum version was on Disk 2.

Not the Pack We Hold

The library holds the Einstein Speculator Games Pack, which is a different thing: saved games made by Einstein owners from their own tapes, together with the SP1 loader and the Conversion Disks. What is missing is Orion's commercial discs, sold ready made in shops.

Can You Help?

If you have a Speculator game disc with Orion or Syntaxsoft printing on the label or inlay, rather than handwriting, please get in touch. We would image it, send you the images, and credit you here. Photographs of the packaging would be welcome too.
