About
A disc that boots to "XtalDOS 2.05 (C) Xtal 1983-87" and carries Digital Research's CP/M 3 for the Einstein. Type CPMLOAD at the 0: prompt and "CP/M loader v1.0" loads the BIOS and BDOS, reports a 51K TPA, and signs on as "Einstein CP/M 3 BIOS D3.1" with the A> prompt.
It is an operating system disc and holds no BASIC. One track of the image, track 9, is damaged; CP/M 3 still loads. For the BASICs the Einstein could run, see our guide BASIC on the Einstein: Which Version Is Which.
