Tatung Einstein BASIC Manual (Xtal BASIC 4)

Tatung's own reference manual for the BASIC supplied with the Einstein, TATUNG/Xtal BASIC 4, written by Crystal Research. Its introduction says that "TATUNG/Xtal BASIC 4 is based upon Xtal BASIC 3.0 which has been extensively enhanced". The manual is by Alan Stancliffe, edited by R.M. Clarke, first edition 1984, copyright Tatung (UK) Ltd, ISBN 1-85086-003-3, with thanks to Crystal Research Limited of Torquay.

It has an alphabetical entry for every keyword, and covers commands, syntax, functions, graphics, sprites, sound, file handling and system interfacing. It says "BASIC 4" throughout and gives no point release; the version on the Einstein's System Master is 4.2.
