About
The Christmas 1990 issue of Alternative Micro News from the UK Einstein User Group, with season's greetings on the cover. The editorial looks back on the AMS4 show at Stafford, with around 2,000 visitors and over 200 stands, and introduces the new games SASA and RAIDER. Inside, Dave Arts begins a series on the Tatung Pipe, the Einstein's expansion port, covering wiring, power supplies, the control bus and simple, partial and full address decoding with hand drawn diagrams. Colin Mills writes on security and the keyboard matrix with BASIC and machine code examples. There are adverts for Mike Pugh's Disktools and for Hollywood Business Supplies, the competition page and a challenge to improve Bell Superdraw, the Postbag, Trog's Sing Along With SAM on Spectrum emulation with Kobrahsoft's CD2, a review of the Mannesmann Tally MT81 printer, Bell Software's range for the Einstein and Sharward Services' price list.
