About
The first issue of Alternative Micro News, published by the UK Einstein User Group from Enterprise House in Ipswich, with Hyperball on the cover. In his editorial Graham Bettany explains that Mike is leaving the group, that TCS will cease trading with all Einstein support passing to Sharward Services (Graham Bettany, Sharon Alward and Charlie Avis), and that Einstein Monthly becomes Alternative Micro News, still Einstein based but open to other machines. The issue has show dates, a competition page, reports on the Scottish show at Livingston and the Einstein show at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, Bob Smith on upgrading to a PC compatible, Walter Delekat's KSIZE program, Ted Cawkwell on 40 column graphics, the new Pinball/Football Manager release, Shaun Jeffery's Connect 4 in XBAS, the public domain library update from PD 250 to PD 295, the Postbag, the Sharward Services price list, BEUG news and members' small ads.
