MicroPro International, founded by Seymour Rubinstein in 1978, published WordStar, the dominant word processor of the early microcomputer era, along with a wider suite of CP/M business tools. This archive credits MicroPro with two of those companion products on the Tatung Einstein: Wordmaster, WordStar's simpler predecessor, and CalcStar, MicroPro's electronic spreadsheet (1981) - both part of the same CP/M software family that made MicroPro one of the best-known publishers of the early business microcomputer age.
