BEACON.DAT, BEACON.MSG and BEACON.COM were made on the Einstein, by MAKEDAT and by Turbo's compiler. If you damage the data files, MAKEDAT makes them again from BEACON.TXT.
TURBO.COM is the Turbo Pascal course's copy: Turbo Pascal 2.00A, set up with Borland's TINST for the Einstein's 40-column screen (without the code that cleared a program's output when it ended) and with DELETE rubbing out one character in the editor. The Turbo course's Appendix III says exactly what was changed from the disc on the Downloads page.
The Turbo course's disc also carries its game, Warehouse, and the source of Borland's MicroCalc. The primer uses neither, so they are not here. Both are on the Turbo course's disc.
