About
The Christmas 1990 edition of Einstein User, Volume 5 Number 2, published by B & H Computers of Southowram, Halifax, with a Christmas games offer inside the front cover. The editorial welcomes more feedback from readers, promises three more magazines that year and a more regular service, and wrestles with the desk top publisher. Steve Wallis writes on the Einstein's analogue to digital converter, crediting Peter Moon, with a battery discharge plotting program; The Man in the Mountains continues Learning The C Language with Part 4, on #define and driving an Epson printer; Geoff Grymsdyke reviews Amscopy and Amrun, running Amstrad CPC Wordstar on the Einstein; and Ben Morgan tells how he fitted a cheap 3.5 inch disk drive to Albert. The editor sets a new competition, Star Power, and announces the Triangle Power winners. Letters cover function key files, the RS232 port and its five pin DIN socket, and the Triangle Power entries, and the Readers Programs section prints C.B. Forde's WORDLIST crossword word list suite and his FKEYS function key filer.
The outside back cover is missing from this scan.
The listings from this issue, C.B. Forde's WORDLIST and Function Key Filer, Star Power and the battery plotter, are on a ready to run disc: Einstein User Vol 5 No 2 Listings Disc.
