About
Lazy Jones for Tatung Einstein is a 1985 arcade game by Terminal Software. Sneak into hotel rooms, dodge your boss, and play 18 quirky mini-games as a slacker janitor.
The Original Disc
The download is a flux dump of an original Terminal Software disc. Side A is labelled “Lazy Jones, Side A”; side B “© 1985 Terminal Software (International) Ltd. Copying of this program is strictly forbidden except by arrangement with Terminal Software. Side B”. Both sides hold the same thing, an XtalDOS 1.11 boot disc with the one file LAZY.COM, and they match sector for sector.
The duplicator recorded only as much of each side as the game needs, about half the disc; the rest was never formatted. That is how the disc was made, not damage, and every byte of the game reads perfectly.
Running It
Boot either side and type LAZY at the prompt. Choose keys (Z and X) or joystick and the number of lives, then fire.

About this Dump
Dumped on 26 September 2026 with a Greaseweazle V4 and an original Einstein 3″ drive, and checked with the Einstein Disc Tools. Nothing has been cleaned up. The copy of LAZY.COM the library held before is the same program with 1,792 bytes of padding added on the end, as a file copy rounded up to a whole block leaves it.
