Xitan & Softsel

This joint credit combines two real early names in microcomputing: Xitan (a pioneering Z80/S-100 hardware and CP/M software house, formerly Technical Design Labs) and SoftSel, the major American software distributor founded in 1980 that later grew into Merisel. The pairing on this archive's copy of SuperCalc - a leading CP/M and MS-DOS spreadsheet of the early 1980s - reflects how SuperCalc reached the Tatung Einstein through the ordinary CP/M software distribution chain of the time rather than as a bespoke Einstein product.
