Xitan

Xitan began life as Technical Design Labs, one of the earliest Z80-based S-100 bus computer makers, founded by Carl Galletti and known for building the first S-100 CPU board around the Z80 chip in 1977 before rebranding as Xitan. This archive credits Xitan with a cluster of CP/M-era business and development tools ported to the Tatung Einstein - Pertmaster and Pertprinter (project planning), Microstat (statistics), Fileshare CIS, Dataplot+, a backup utility and the Animator Level II debugger - all typical of the CP/M software ecosystem that fed into early British business micros like the Einstein.
