Tasman Software

Tasman Software's Tasword began as a personal project - a word processor its author wrote for his own 16K ZX81 in 1982 - before growing into one of the most widely ported word processors of the 8-bit era, reaching the Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, MSX, SAM Coupé and beyond, with add-ons like TasMerge for mail-merge and TasSpell for spell-checking. This archive credits Tasman Software with Tasword and its manual on the Tatung Einstein, alongside the sign-making tool Tas-Sign and the printer utility Tasprint, both dated 1985.
