Talbot Computers is credited with the INTEXT Word Processing & Communications Manual, dated 1984, for the Tatung Einstein. INTEXT paired a word processor with basic communications (viewdata/modem) features, a common combination for early 1980s British business software aimed at home and small-office users.

Beyond this one manual no further trace of Talbot Computers survives, and it is not clear whether they were a dedicated software house or a computer dealer who also produced in-house documentation.
