Firebird

Firebird was the software label of Telecomsoft, the games publishing arm British Telecom set up in 1984, distinguished by its budget "Silver" and premium "Gold" ranges under a distinctive phoenix logo, and best remembered for publishing the space trading game Elite. No Firebird titles currently appear in this site's rebuilt Downloads catalogue for the Tatung Einstein, but the label itself is one of the best-documented British publishers of the era.
