About
A diagnostic ROM for the Tatung Einstein TC01, written by Fabrizio Di Vittorio in 2019, with its Z80 source. Burnt onto a 2764 EPROM and fitted in the free ROM slot next to the original firmware, it runs at 4000H; the source notes that the Xtal MOS checks for 00H at 4000H to detect an alternate ROM.
It tests:
- the 64K of dynamic RAM (eight 4164 chips)
- the PSG (AY 3 8910) and the keyboard connected to it
- the VDP (TMS9129) and its video RAM
- the FDC (FD1770)
- the CTC timer
- the PCI (8251 USART)
- the Z80 PIO

About This Scan
From Mike's Archive, with thanks. The author's GitHub repository download, hosted unchanged under a clearer name. Nothing has been removed. This is new software, not a disassembly, and rom.bin is the diagnostic, not Tatung's MOS.
