About
A faithful digital edition of the much loved deduction board game. You investigate a mysterious crime by moving between rooms, making accusations, and tracking clues as you narrow down suspects, weapons, and locations. The computer manages unseen cards and responds intelligently to your decisions. Its thoughtful pacing and familiar mechanics make it an enjoyable interpretation for fans of classic detective puzzles.
This is “The Computer Edition of Waddingtons Cluedo”, software by Leisure Genius, catalogue number LGD213 “For the Tatung Einstein”. Its opening screens read “LEISURE GENIUS® PRESENTS” and “CLUEDO® TRADE MARK AND COPYRIGHT LICENSED BY WADDINGTONS GAMES LTD”. The instruction booklet is photographed page by page in the gallery.
Running It
The disc has no DOS directory: boot it and it goes straight into the game. After the Leisure Genius screen and the title, enter each player’s name.
About this Dump
Dumped from Leisure Genius’s original disc, boxed with its instruction booklet, using a Greaseweazle V4 and an original 3-inch drive on 3 October 2026. All 400 sectors read with good CRCs on the first pass; the other side of the disc is unformatted. The copy previously in our library was a later conversion of the game into a DOS file, CLUE.COM; this is the disc as Leisure Genius sold it. The zip holds raw flux (.scp), a MAME image (.mfi) and a sector image (.dsk), with nothing cleaned up.
