Classic Pong title screen on the Tatung Einstein

About

Classic Pong is Karoshi Corporation's 2004 homebrew MSX1 remake of Atari's Pong. This version runs on the Tatung Einstein TC-01 through a compatibility layer - not a hand port of the game's logic, but the original, unmodified MSX cartridge code running under a small piece of software that answers the MSX's own hardware calls using confirmed Einstein facts (video, sprites, sound, keyboard).

That layer was built by a Claude Code project trained specifically on confirmed Tatung Einstein hardware facts and Z80 assembly, verified by comparing its behaviour screen-by-screen against the real MSX game running in an MSX emulator.

This is not a commercial release and was never an official Einstein title - it's a homebrew remake/port, free to download, made possible by the similarity between the MSX and Einstein's Z80-based hardware.

Boots straight into the game after Ctrl-BREAK - no DOS or extra setup needed. SPACE starts, cursor UP/DOWN move the left paddle.
