Backgammon & Norseman is a combination disk for the Tatung Einstein from Electric Software, pairing an implementation of the classic board game Backgammon with Norseman, a separate Viking-themed title. Both games were also released individually.
The disc is two-sided and carries the “Einsoft Approved” mark, with labels dated © Electric Software Ltd. 1985. Side A is Norseman, credited on the inlay as “Norseman © 1984 by Ake Andersson”; side B is Backgammon. Each side boots to the 0: prompt: type NORMAN and press ENTER on side A, or GAMMON and ENTER on side B.

About this Dump
The ZIP package holds both sides of an original disc, dumped in September 2026 with a Greaseweazle and an original Einstein 3" drive. Each side is provided as a raw flux capture (.scp), a MAME flux image (.mfi) and a decoded disk image (.dsk). Every sector on both sides read with a good CRC on the first pass.
