256-Westen House

Westen House is a gothic horror adventure originally released for the MSX by Brain Games, whose logo shares the title screen with the MSX badge. You explore a haunted house by lantern light, with arrow keys or joystick to move, Space to jump and start, and M and N for the inventory and controls screens.

This version is a 2026 port to the Tatung Einstein 256 by Simone Voltolini of Outsoftware, the fifth of his ports to arrive on TatungBytes after Skool Daze, Back to Skool, Contact Sam Cruise and Everyone's a Wally. It is built for the Einstein 256 and will not run on a TC01. The disc boots straight into the title screen with no DOS needed. The loader on the disc notes that the port was produced with the help of ChatGPT and Codex.
