Einstein TC-01 V9958/V9938 VDP adapter

Adapter board to allow the use of a Yamaha V9958 or V9938 VDP chip on the Tatung Einstein TC-01. The board requires 192KB RAM, as 6 of 4464 (41464) RAM chips, to make the video capability of the board same as (or better than) the Einstein 256, and works with the ROM from that machine, e.g. XTAL MOS 2.1.

It Looks Like Ian ( Grandoldian ) have finally done it with this work. You can read and download the files for the TC01 motherboard from this site. Then you can start your journey in building and having your own TC01 adapter.

Years later I rediscovered it—alongside the Tatung 256—and saw the potential these machines still hold.
